This commonly refers to the edge (
house edge) a casino has over a player on a given bet.
This is a
one roll bet that the next roll will be either 2, 3, or 12.
This is a
one roll bet that the next roll will be a 7.
A bet that the dice will win on
pass line and
come bets.
A bet placed on
don't pass line and
don't come line is a bet that the dice won't win or pass.
An action a player takes pursuant to the rules of the game in which he places money in the pot so as to maintain a chance of winnning that pot.
This is a bet that a 6 will be rolled before a 7 and pays
even money.

The numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 are call box numbers because they are in the boxes on the craps layout. The dealer will mark the

puck placed in the box on the table.

A wager on the
pass line that an dice outcome will be reached, one bets are placed on the pass line they cannot be removed until a win or lose outcome has occurred.
(1) Refers to the
dealer paying out the player the winnings of bet. (2) The player cashing out his
chips with the casino.
An employee of the casino whom is responsible for all the tables in a given area of the casino.
The place numbers are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 which are the
box numbers in the layout area of the board.
A term used to described a person who places bets (gambles) in casino or card room.
Refers to the position the
puck is placed after the outcome of the come out roll has occurred, depending which
box number has been rolled establishes the point.

point has already been established, thus ending his roll and losing with the dice.
A term used to described the series of rolls that a
shooter throws before a seven out.
A shooter is a
player designated to roll the
dice and who throws determines wins and loses for all players at the craps table.
A slang term used when referring to the number 2.
A stickman is an employee of the casino who calls the game, handles the stick and returns the dice to the
shooter.
A free odds bet as a right bettor that offers better than equal money on a winning bet.
A term that dealers use when referring to a tip given to a
dealer by a player.
Refers to the chance (odds) that a given number will be rolled on any single roll of the dice.
Also referred to as a bet is used to described the action of a player that places his
chips down on a
layout number, betting against the dice for a desired outcome.
A casino term to signify that all bets are on and the next roll of the dice is
coming out.
A player who wagers a
don't pass bet is betting against the dice.
A slang term betting that the next roll with be the sum total of eleven.
